The Unified Earth

This post describes a concept for a new organisation that will act as a wholly-good, honest, and spiritually-aligned global government. It will replace the United Nations, and will be the administrator of a range of global programs, including the Earth Development Program, the Earth Food Network, the Earth Water Network, the Earth Energy Network, the Earth Resources Network, the Earth Education Network, and the Earth Space Program. It will be the central headquarters for the Earth Environmental Management Department and the Earth Space Development Department, amongst others.

Why do we need such an organisation?

The existing national governments on this planet are flawed and, in most cases, corrupt beyond recovery, based as they are on beliefs in fear and separation. While I encourage supporters of the principles of the Earth Development Program and the Unified Earth to become engaged in local and national politics, preferably through their country's "Greens" political party, and/or the Global Greens, it is important to understand that these political parties operate within an unsustainable political framework. The current democratic-capitalist structures are too easily corrupted, since spiritual truth is separated from the economic system, and thus all manner of crimes are permitted in the pursuit of the dollar. And communist systems do not give a voice to the people and are organised to create master-slave societies.

National governments, the United Nations, European Union, African Union, Asia Pacific Economic Community, the North American Union, the Latin American Union, etc., are good ideas. However, they operate within the "old Earth" framework and are already under the influence of dark forces. People can change this. There are still mostly good people operating within these organisations, and we need to remain engaged with them, and there are still many opportunities to influence decisions positively and do good within existing organisations. However, trying to change these organisations to wholly good, globally-oriented institutions would be like pushing a bus uphill while it's still in gear.

That's not to say that starting a new global institution from scratch is easier, in fact, it's a formidable challenge. But adopting this approach offers several important advantages:

  1. It opens up opportunities for re-inventing governmental and economic systems based on global thinking and spiritual harmony.
  2. It does away with any belief in separation between peoples. It doesn't try to glue nations together, but instead ignores the concept of nations completely, and views the planet as a single living entity, which itself is part of the galaxy.
  3. It empowers the people of Earth. It boldly says that we don't need anyone's permission to do this. Creating this organisation says, very clearly: "We are the people of Earth, and we think there's a better way to inhabit this planet. You guys had your turn. Now we're taking our planet back."

What would this organisation hope to achieve?

The Unified Earth would mainly exist to design and implement global programs that aim to improve the quality of life for every being on the planet. This would include:

  1. Global access to an abundance of high-quality food.
  2. Global access to an abundance of high-purity water.
  3. Implementation of a global network of sustainably-generated electricity, and phasing out of all fuel-based electricity production systems.
  4. Access to an abundance of building materials and other resources.
  5. Unhindered and high-speed access to information and communication systems.
  6. Freedom of movement about the planet.
  7. A global recovery program designed to repair the damage caused by humans over the last few centuries, including a global pollution clean-up program.
  8. A research program into spiritual science, spiritual economics, spiritual healing, and spiritual information systems.
  9. Establish a global charter for human and animal rights.
  10. Global health improvement and health care programs, including research into natural and spiritual healing technologies.
  11. Global education programs that include universal teaching of a common Earth language and fundamental spiritual policies.
  12. A common currency based on precious metals, and an improved global economic system that makes every transaction win-win.
  13. Open scientific and technological research and development programs designed to benefit all people.
  14. A global planetary engineering program designed to rehabilitate, protect and enhance Earth's environment.
  15. A program of ecovillage-style sustainability principles for human settlements.
  16. A global shift towards an organic vegetarian/pescetarian diet.
  17. Reduced dependency on dangerous or boring manual labour through applied robotics and AI.
  18. An integrated space program designed to open up access to space and its resources for all the people of Earth.
  19. Establish friendly, diplomatic and possibly trade relationships with extra-terrestrial groups and other inhabited planets.
  20. Become respected and mature participants in the galactic community.

How can such an organisation be established?

Any organisation is simply comprised of people. Although it may accummulate land, buildings and other assets, it primarily needs people, because it is the will of humans that change the world - nothing else. So, the idea needs to be developed, and expressed and communicated clearly to a global audience through as many channels as possible in order to attract supporters. Unlike other do-gooder groups, the Unified Earth will never have "members" or solicit money from people. We will do as much as we can with what we have, which is considerable, seeing as how anyone reading this has (a) spare time; (b) a computer; and (c) access to a global information and communications network.

Every human living on Earth is automatically a "member" of the Unified Earth; what varies is whether they are aware of it and whether they actively support it. If anyone doesn't support the goals of the UE, then you can bet they have a vested interest in the status quo, or they are wimps with no imagination and no balls. That's okay - all these people will come around eventually when they realise that the UE offers true freedom, and that the old system of nations, separation and fear only seeks to enslave them.

So the following steps for building the organisation and implementing its goals are suggested:

  1. Develop the concept in a professional way, so that it is clear we have thought each part of our plan through, and that it is logically consistent and practical.
  2. Communicate the idea to as many people as possible, as clearly as possible. This means tailoring the language used in documentation to different types of people: young people, old people, scientists, engineers, laypeople, religious and spiritual leaders, politicians, businesspeople, labourers, farmers, etc. It also means translating key documents into other languages.
  3. Provide regular, consistent e-mail-outs to all subscribed supporters. Ideally this would be weekly or even more often. This will give the people of Earth a real feeling of momentum and change, and encourage them to believe in the project.
  4. Establish the key departments within the organisation and assign leadership roles and responsibilities.
  5. Try to achieve as much as possible with whatever resources we have to hand. Whatever money is available we use wisely, with guidance from God. For example, if we agree that health and the environment are our top priorities over the next 10-20 years, then we invest funds in achieving our goals in this area. For example, we may invest in things like nutritional education programs, organic farms, ecovillages, tree-planting programs and conservation. When people see that we are achieving things with small amounts of money, we will soon attract large amounts of money (refer to Matthew 25:23: "Since you have been trustworthy with a small amount, I will put you in charge of a large amount." This does not require a belief in God or Christianity to understand this concept. The people of Earth will watch what we do with the money we attract early on. When they see that we invest the money we have in education programs, organic farms, tree-planting, and so on, then they will know we are honest, with good intentions, and mean what we say. At that point we will attract greater respect and resources - not just money, but land, equipment, buildings and other assets, and as long as we continue this pattern there will be no limit to what we can achieve, for the simple reason that most people want this kind of a planet and they very much want to see us succeed.)

Why do I think this incredible idea will work?

Because the alternative, which is to allow fear to run amok until the planetary biosphere is utterly destroyed, is too horrible to accept. See, good, loving people are generally passive and peaceful. They will generally not resort to violence unless to defend themselves or their loved ones. However, fearful people are aggressive and proactive, and that is why a small, motivated group have been allowed to accummulate significant power on this planet over the past few thousand years. But the time has come when good people need to defend themselves, for the sake of their families and descendants, the animals, and indeed, the planet itself. We need to fight back. It doesn't mean going to war, in the traditional sense, but rather, using our intelligence to create a better way of life. We have the strength of numbers on our side, and that is all we really need since all humans have creative power, not just those with money. Creative power is contained in the mind, not the wallet. It's time to cease to allow our minds to be distracted from the activities of the dark elite, which they do through TV, entertainment, junk foods, war, and sensationalism, and say, no, from now on I am going to use my mind for positive uses, to create a better world. It is necessary to break our addictions, which actually becomes easy when you have something good to replace them with. If our mental addictions are replaced with the concept of the Unified Earth, then our creative willpower begins to manifest a planet that is healthy, happy, at peace with itself, and then (in the words of the legendary Bill Hicks) "we can explore space, both inner and outer, in peace, forever."
